Col Walker
Col has always loved drawing and painting and became aware of and joined with a group of artists. This has stimulated Col’s desire to continue with his art, and his art practices and techniques have strongly progressed.
Col enjoys the free expression of working in oils and is particularly inspired by the French Impressionist painter, Claude Monet. Col has adopted some of the characteristics of the impressionists with his visible spontaneous brush strokes that have captured the essence of his subject matter. He also has an interest in painting animals particularly dogs and horses.
Di Atkinson
Di has taken instruction from both Wanda Driscoll and Jeannie Holmes and attended a number of workshops conducted by local and visiting artists. Di has her own Studio and likes nothing better than spending a day locked away painting. She is inspired by the changing Australian landscape and the styles of Roberts and McCubbin. She uses all mediums.
Len Banks
Len has been learning art from Jeannie Holmes of Wellington, NSW and has taken classes with well-known artists Colley Whisson and Ted Lewis. His interest started with landscapes aiming to capture some of the magnificent scenery he has experienced in his travels in Australia, Britain and Europe. He has recently also moved into streetscapes and has a flair for reflections in water.
Len is inspired by the Australian countryside, with its diversity of colours and characteristic land formations not seen elsewhere in the world.
